Nusserwanji Tata, the founder of the house of Tatas, as
well as the 100th birth anniversaries of JRD Tata and Naval
Tata.
It was a commemorative campaign designed with the intention

| The

| The
2000 campaign:The 2000 campaign introduced a brand
consciousness with a logo that was created by Wolff Olins,
an influential brand developer responsible for the iconic
branding of GE, Sony Ericsson, Orange and the upcoming the
London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The logo aimed
to unify all the seemingly disparate Tata identities and
its employees under one icon. It also induced the outside
world to see the various companies as ultimately parts of
the greater Tata whole.
The campaign was created by O&M with adman Piyush
Pandey playing a lead role in its conception. The tagline
Improving the quality of life had the Tata
logo symbolically embedded in a series of images. From
the glimmering chandelier at a Taj Hotel, clean and reliable
energy derived from the raging waterfall to the luminescent
tea brew from Tata plantations all highlight the range
of Tata businesses and how they have enhanced the quality
of people's lives. |
